Ivy Chen

Ivy has been studying piano since Year 5, gaining experience in the ABRSM curriculum and earning UK certification. With a passion for both performance and music theory, she has developed her skills and knowledge through years of dedicated practice and teaching. While currently a university student majoring in design education, Ivy has continued to hone her expertise in pedagogy, music theory, and performance as part of her lifelong passion for piano.

As a multicultural individual from a Taiwanese-Cantonese background who grew up in Vietnam, Ivy has been immersed in an international speaking environment. Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and Vietnamese, she is confident in her ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals, demonstrating her adaptability as an engaging instructor. Ivy especially enjoys teaching children, helping them prepare for exams in both practical and theoretical aspects. Committed to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment, she strives to inspire students while continuously growing as both a musician and educator.
